Dr Rehana P. Ummer joined at the department on 2022 July.   She had Post doctoral experience of 5 years.  She was a UGC- DSK post doctoral fellow at Cochin University of Science and Technology from 2017 to 2020.  She had worked as RA at the department of Photonics, at Cochin University of Science and Technology.  She had completed PhD in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2016.  Her area of research spreads around Photocatalysis, Magnetic Nanoparticles, Synthesis of novel nanostructures and so on. She had worked on Magnetic nanoparticle incorporated Photo catalytic systems, Magnetic materials for medical applications, sensors and energy storage. Nanomaterials were studied for pollution control and water treatment.
