Sharrel Rebello has been a teacher (6 years) and researcher (6 years) since her PhD from Mahatama Gandhi University (2014) in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology. She was awarded the prestigious CMs- NavaKerala Post Doctoral Fellowship (2022-2024) to work Bacterial cellulose at National Institute of Plant Science Technology, Mahatma Gandhi University. During her SERB-NPDF tenure she worked on Microbial Phytases at St Joseph’s College, Irinjalakuda, Kerala.
