Students of School of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology and School of Energy Materials bag fellowships for Master projects in foreign Universities

M Tech students of School of Nanoscience & Nano Technology and School of Energy Materials at Mahatma Gandhi University achieved coveted scholarships in various foreign universities as part of the final year internship programmes. The prestigious Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg University in Germany and Queen’s University, Canada, have offered four students from the School of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology one-year research internship. They will get a scholarship of 2500 Euros per month. The University of Louisville, one among highly ranking universities in the United States, offered internship for six students from the School of Energy Materials for one year research programme. The students got admitted to Louisville will be paid 1500 US dollars per month as scholarship. Apart from this, two M Tech students have obtained internships at Yulin Normal University, China and the University of South Africa.

Moreover, Mahatma Gandhi University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Louisville, USA. The MoU will pave the way for joint projects, joint seminars, training of students, sharing of instruments/lab facilities, students exchange, and internships etc.
